Synergyo Collaborator - Margarita  Papadopoulou
Art Therapist
Margarita was born in Athens in November 1980. She studied at the Department of Education and Early Childhood of the University of Athens.

In 2004 she visited Argentina where she remained for 4 years completing her postgraduate studies in «Art Therapy» at the School of Fine Arts of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She has been working as a nursery school teacher since September 2003 at schools in Greece and Argentina.

She started working as an Art therapist in Argentina, where she organised several workshops for children and adolescents at risk as well as for elderly people. In 2008 she returned to Greece and co-founded Amaka, non – profit organization. As a member of AMAKA and in collaboration with other non profit organizations Margarita leads art therapy workshops for children and young people from vulnerable social groups (roma, migrants, refugees, sex workers).

She is also one of the founding members of the theatre group Station Athens for young refugees and immigrants that works and presents their shows at Synergeio since 2009.
